CALL TO ORDER
Chairman John Early called the meeting to order at 4:03 p.m.
ATTENDANCE
A quorum of 94.96 % was present. In addition to Mr. Early of West Tisbury (15.11 %), the following board members attended: Arthur Smadbeck of Edgartown (31.4 %), Warren Doty of Chilmark (18.51 %), Tristan Israel of Tisbury (15.06 %), and Richard Combra of Oak Bluffs (14.88 %). The following board members were absent: Carl Widdis of Aquinnah (3.81 %) and Kris Lombard of Gosnold (1.23 %).
Also present were County Commissioner Leonard Jason Jr., County Manager E. Winn Davis, Special Sheriff David O’Sullivan, Airport Manager William J. Weibrecht, Airport Assistant Manager Sean Flynn, and Executive Assistant Brian S. Kinal, who took these minutes.
There was discussion about transfer of funds within departments, interdepartmental transfers, supplemental appropriations, and payment of prior years’ bills.
Mr. Doty made a motion to approve the schedule of departmental transfers, Mr. Israel seconded, and the motion passed unanimously on a roll-call vote.
Mr. Israel made a motion to approve the schedule of interdepartmental transfers, Mr. Combra seconded, and the motion passed unanimously on a roll-call vote.
Mr. Israel made a motion to approve the schedule of supplemental appropriations, Mr. Doty seconded, and the motion passed unanimously on a roll-call vote.
Mr. Combra made a motion to approve the schedule of prior years’ payments, Mr. Israel seconded, and the motion passed unanimously on a roll-call vote.
NEXT MEETING
The next meeting was set for Thursday, May 20, at 4 p.m. at the Administration Building. On the agenda will be the FY-05 budget.
ADJOURNMENT
The meeting was adjourned at 4:50 p.m.
