COUNTY OF DUKES COUNTY DUKES COUNTY ADVISORY BOARD
A meeting of the County of Dukes County Advisory Board was held on Wednesday, December 10, 1997, at 12:00 p.m. at the M. V. Airport ARFF Building, notice of such meeting having been posted as required by law.

Noreen Mavro Flanders, County Treasurer, distributed a report of FY98 budget line item adjustments to the Advisory Board members. She noted that a transfer request in the amount of $15,755.99 from Misc Income to County Share of FAA Grant is a reimbursement to the Airport from MAC for runway painting; because this is not a revolving fund cannot be used to reimburse the line without Advisory Board approval.
Mrs. Flanders also distributed copies of the 07/01/97 COLA calculation at three percent.
Chairman Morgan called the meeting to order at 12:12 p.m.
Mrs. Flanders reviewed with the Advisory Board the various adjustments to the FY98 budget; amounts being requested to be transferred to and from the various line items in each department.
Mr. Early inquired as to the amount of $9,000 being transferred into Misc Contractual (Airport).
Mrs. Flanders reported that this is associated with a contract with Doug Dias to remove debris; specifically, vehicles.
Mr. Morgan inquired as to whether Mrs. Flanders has received a notice from Cape Municipal Health Group regarding a two to three-percent increase in premiums for the coming year.

Mrs. Flanders indicated that this will effect the rest of the group. She reported that Dukes County has been higher than everyone else, and within fiscal year 1999 we will be rated with the other group and may see a little decrease.
Philip Reynolds noted that the account from which $1,500 is being transferred from 56100 County Share of FAA Grant to 55100 Computer should be coming from 52410 CFR School - Education of Employees.
Mrs. Flanders indicated that this correction will made.
Mr. Morgan acknowledged receipt of the 07/01/97 COLA calculation.
Mr. Israel made a Motion to Approve the FY98 budget adjustments as presented.
Mr. Early Seconded the motion.

Motion was Unanimously Approved.
Mr. Early made a Motion to Adjourn.

There being no further business, the meeting adjourned at 12:21 p.m..
