Executive Coordinator

The Healthy Aging Task Force (HATF) of Martha’s Vineyard is looking for an Executive Task Force Coordinator (ETC) to work in partnership with the Executive Committee (EC) of the Task Force and the staff to provide leadership, vision and direction for the HATF.

The HATF is a young planning and advocacy coalition of over 75 volunteer leaders and 37 non-profit and municipal organizations serving island elders and their families. The goal of the HATF is to create an ‘Aging Friendly Island” to meet the needs of the exploding 65+ population and their families on and off the island. We are doing this by developing approaches and incubating programs that will improve services for island elders.

The Executive Coordinator (ETC) is the senior staff person for the organization and implements policies approved by the leadership, manages the HATF programs, staff, grant writing and represents the organization in the community. He/She will supervise the day to day operations of the Task Force programs and work groups.

The successful candidate will have strong organizational and communication skills, a strong work ethic and a commitment to working in a collaborative environment.  Bachelor’s degree in relevant subjects is preferred but experience may be considered in lieu of education. Computer literacy including: word processing, data base management and use of relevant financial software is needed. This position may be part-time initially. Please see job description attached.
