Information about local, regional and state health and human services, programs and resources is available at the VHCAP.

ENROLLMENT ASSISTANCE |
We assist eligible Island residents to apply for programs such as MassHealth, the Children's Medical Security Plan, Free Care, Insurance Partnership, Healthy Start, Prescription Advanatge and the Medical Security Plan.

REDUCED FEE PLAN |
The Reduced Fee Plan (RFP) offers discounted primary and specialty medical care, complementary/alternative care, vision care and more to uninsured, lower-income residents of Martha's Vineyard.

DENTAL ACCESS PROGRAM |
The Dental Access Program is a discounted program available to a limited number of people who are on the waiting list at the Martha's Vineyard Dental Center.

PRESCRIPTION ASSISTANCE |
We assist people to obtain medications by applying to manufacturers for free medicine, offering information about discount cards, and through our Voucher Program. The Voucher Program provides temporary assistance to those who qualify, by helping to pay for certain medications for a limited time.

CULTURAL COMPETENCY IN HEALTH CARE |
Together with Island Health Inc., the VHCAP coordinates efforts to improve access to health care for limited-English speaking Island residents.

PERINATAL OUTREACH |
The Perinatal Outreach Project connects pregnant women with limited English skills to prenatal health care and offers medical interpreting services and childbirth education classes.
|
SENIOR ASSISTANCE PLAN |
Seniors who are eligible for discounted medical care and prescription coverage are assisted to obtain these services.
