Dukes County boasts 10 libraries open to the public. Each of the seven towns has its own library. In addition, the County operates a law library, the Martha’s Vineyard Historical Society maintains a reference library, and the regional high school makes its collection available to all.
Library hours vary, so call first if you‘re in doubt. Most libraries are closed Sunday.
