 Almost Always Calm Water Looking east, instead of west as in the above photograph, gives you a clear view of the drawbridge. It also shows part of the beach that is easy to access and has very calm water for swimming. |
 Beachgrass This clump of beachgrass has flowered and gone to seed. The wind and birds will spread these seeds and new beachgrass plants will grow. Beachgrass can also propagate itself by underground roots called runners or rhizomes. |
