EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY - TELE-COMMUNICATIONS OFFICER
A Tele-Communications Officer is a first-line public safety communications professional who essentially serves as a first responder to every class of emergency for which public safety services are provided.
The primary responsibility is to receive, process, transmit, and/or dispatch emergency and non-emergency calls for police, fire, emergency medical, and other public safety services via telephone and other communication devices. Good keyboard/computer skills required.  Work includes assignments to day, evening, night, weekend and holiday shifts.  Full-time with benefits.  Applications available at the Sheriff's Communications Center, HR Dept. 9 Flight Path, M.V.
