The Dukes Count Sheriff’s Office is responsible for the transportation of our inmates to the courts in Dukes County, to other courts in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, to other correctional facilities and to health care facilities. The Sheriff does this under the authority of the Massachusetts General Laws, Chapter 37, Sections 24 and 25.
Lt. Randolph M. Ditson is in charge of the Transportation Division.
