2011 County Appointments
Dukes County Commissioners voted to appoint candidates to the following positions as part of their annual appointment process done in February:
County Representative to the:
- Steamship Authority Board (3 year term) - Marc Hanover
- Cape Cod Municipal Health Group (3 year term) – 2 voting members - Noreen Mavro Flanders and Dr. James Weiss, one alternate member - Michael Dutton
- CapeLight Compact (3 year term)- Peter Cabana
- Cape & Vineyard Electrical Cooperative (3 year term) - Peter Cabana
Emergency Management Director (1 year term) - Serves as an assistant to the SSA Board Member in case of emergency, also serves as an assistant to the Point of Contact for the National Incident System and serves as a County representative to the Martha's Vineyard Medical Reserve Corp. - Charles Cotnoir
Martha’s Vineyard Airport Commission (3 year term) – 2 members: John Alley, Benjamin L. Hall, Jr.
Dukes County Regional Housing Authority (3 year term)
