Employee Assistance Program
EAP Network

The Employee Assistance Program (EAP) is a service provided to County Employees free of charge through MIIA.  EAP helps with “life problems” that cause stress and uncertainty in our lives.  Sometimes we are able to solve these problems ourselves but when the help of an experienced professional is needed EAP is there to help.

The EAP program provides you and your loved ones with counseling or consultations to help you with “life problems” whether they are legal, financial or emotional.

Some examples of typical problems that MIIA EAP can help with include:

Marital problems, family problems, couples conflict, alcohol and other drug issues, legal concerns, financial issues, problems with children, problems with parents, aging issues, child care issues, stress management, mental illness, depression, grief, anxiety, crisis intervention, workplace crisis, traumatic events, domestic violence, smoking cessation, personal concerns and many others.

For Confidential Assistance Call: MIIA EAP at 1-800-451-1834

Deer Employees,
We have an attractive and entertaining EAP promotional video to share with you! It’s a little over 4 minutes and shows the many ways EAP can assist.. Click on the following video button: MIIA EAP Video.

Also, no doubt you have employees that are in care giving roles at home – this can add great challenge to their lives. The following hyperlink will take you to a flyer with helpful information: Are you a Caregiver?
Enjoy the rest of the summer and please contact MIIA EAP if it can be of any assistance to you and your family.
