Once you arrive on Martha’s Vineyard, take advantage of the modern, economical public bus system operated by Vineyard Transit Authority. All-day passes allow you to hop any bus and see the entire Island, if you wish.

Peter Pan Bus Lines offers direct service between Woods Hole, Mass., and Boston, Logan Airport, and Providence, R.I. Connections are available to New York. Schedules and tickets may be obtained at the Steamship Authority terminals at Woods Hole and Vineyard Haven.

Numerous taxi companies operate on Martha’s Vineyard, and they focus on arriving ferryboats. Cars, mopeds and even Harley-Davidson motorcycles are available to rent.
