Veteran's Services Officer


As of Feb 1, 2021, veterans who are enrolled in VA Healthcare will be contacted by Hyannis VA Clinic - VA Providence Healthcare System. You will be provided with instructions regarding date of your appointment in Hyannis. Travel to the Hyannis VA Clinic is required.

  • If you are not enrolled in VA Healthcare you can call the VA Enrollment Center at 877-222-8387 to enroll. It will take 3-5 days for your enrollment to be processed. After this wait time, you can call 857-203-3919 to verify your enrollment and get scheduled for the COVID shot. 

Once you have your appointment and if you are unable to travel on your own, you will be contacted to arrange no cost transportation available on Wednesdays from Martha’s Vineyard to the Hyannis VA Clinic.

The Dukes County Veteran's Service Department serves the veterans of all seven towns within Dukes County. The Veteran's Service Officer helps veterans obtain all the benefits to which they are entitled, keeps records of living and deceased veterans, and conceives programs to honor vets and promote patriotism.
Veterans Services provides for the provision of Federal Veterans Administration and general laws governing the financial support of local veterans, including the determination of eligibility, the disbursement of veterans benefits and assisting local veterans and their families in obtaining financial & other counseling, advice and assistance.
