New Treasurer Press Release

On Wednesday, March 13th, the Dukes County Commissioners appointed a new County Treasurer with an anticipated start date of April 17, 2024 when the current (interim) Treasurer has announced his intent to step down.

We are delighted to appoint Juliet Mulinare as County Treasurer.   She comes with the skills and experience to take on the challenges.    Juliette brings a decade of municipal and business experience, numerous island relations and an enthusiasm for the work opportunities that lie ahead.  “I am energized and prepared for the many tasks before me” Juliette said.

The County Commissioners are excited and pleased to have been able to fill the position with the knowledge that the necessary skills will be brought to bear and that the numerous obligations of the Treasurer's Office will be responsibly carried out.  Juliette added “I’m thrilled and honored to be given the opportunity to take on this challenge, meet new people, apply my skills and learn new ones.”

“We want to thank Judy Soules for her service and Tim McLean, as well as staff members Beth Kaeka and Stephanie White for serving the County in keeping the Treasurer’s Office running” said Christine Todd, Chair  of the Dukes County Commission.
