Dukes County Commissioners are accepting applications for our annual volunteer position appointments.
The Associate Commissioners positions are appointments made by the chairman of the Dukes County Commissioners. They are one year appointments - starting March 2020. For more information on each position visit the website for the particular position.

The rest of the appointments are appointments made by the full board of County Commissioners:
Dukes County Emergency Management Director and Assistant Director - 1 year appointment
Airport Commission - 3 year appointment - 3 appointments will be made to a 7-member board
Dukes County Health Council - 2 year appointment - approx. 15 members will be appointed
Dukes County Regional Housing Authority - 3 year appointment - representatives from Aquinnah, Edgartown and Tisbury are up for an appointment
Cape Cod Municipal Health Group - 2 year appointments - 2 representatives to the board and one alternate (requires travel to meetings off island)
Other Post-Employment Benefits Trust - Dukes County representative to the board of trustees
Steamship Authority - 3 year appointment as the Martha's Vineyard representative to the board of Governors (requires travel to meetings off island)
Cape Light Compact - Dukes County representative to the board (requires travel off island)
